Legal Storage with ProStor InfiniVault
The explosive growth of digital data has made every organization – regardless of size, industry, public or private – responsible for the storage and management of its information to meet potential legal challenges. The Federal Rules of Civil Procedures (FRCP) have made that an imperative for all companies.

The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure places a requirement on companies to disclose evidence in an electronic form, commonly called e-discovery, and it requires that the company must preserve that evidence during anticipated or actual litigation.

To support legal storage, the ProStor InfiniVault can place files on a legal hold. Multiple, overlapping legal holds may be placed on files in the case of more than one legal action being in progress. ProStor InfiniVault manages the legal holds by holding in abeyance any retention expiration on a file until all legal holds are released.

Non-compliance to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure can be an extremely expensive proposition. The fines are severe and the cloud of suspicion that hangs over an organization that fails to meet the rules may also factor into harsh final judgments.

ProStor InfiniVault automates much of the adherence to regulations and enables a rapid and simple means of meeting e-discovery requests and supporting the requirements for legal storage.
